The Holy Spirit, the Church and the Last Times

COURSE DESCRIPTION 

Pneumatology: The Holy Spirit and His contribution to the task of the salvation and renewal of
the world. The faith of the Church concerning the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in the institutions
and life of the Church.

Ecclesiology: The theanthropic composition of the Church. The Divine Eucharist is the integral
mystery of the Church. Church governance. Unity and universality of the Church

Eschatology: The unit on the last days initially attempts to present the faith and teaching of the
Church on the matter, which does not merely discourse on the next life. It imbues the whole of
ecclesiastical and liturgical life and constitutes active expectation and, at the same time,
preliminary participation in the dynamic transfiguration and renewal of the whole world.
Eschatology is associated with our activity and responsibility toward the world and history. This
relationship principally concerns the experience of the Cross as the acceptance, in Christ, of pain
and the problems of people and the world. The outstanding eschatological event, however, the
Resurrection remains entirely a gift and favor from God. This event is experienced primarily in
the Divine Eucharist.
