Patriarch of Russia Kirill conveys support to Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos after latest attack by radicals

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, on Thursday conveyed a message of compassion and fraternal support to His Beatitude Theophilos III, the Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine, in view of another sinister attack by radicals against Christian sites in Holy Land.
Among others, the Russian Patriarch states: “…With sorrow and concern I have learnt about an attack made by Jewish radicals on the Church of the Dormition on the Sunday of the Adoration of the Cross, during the Liturgy celebrated at the Tomb of the Mother of God and about an attack on the priest, and an attempt to maim His Eminence Joachim, Metropolitan of Helenopolis. Crying shame on this crime, I express compassion and brotherly support to Your Beatitude.”
